I really don't mind someone going up to 75-80K even, if it's
really intricate and suffers from compression
I usually start with my photos at about 700 pixels wide and 50% quality. I then do a dance between lowereing the pixels and the quality til I get it somewhere near 50
If it starts out at 35K I'll keep it there.
I think it may help to make the size limits (suggestions) more noticible in the guidelines. Currently most everything is in bold so it all seems important or not. Or maybe mention it as a reminder in the thread for the n00bs (notice I didn't say liters  )
The first time or two I posted I didn't realize the limits.
I remeber posting something at 135k, re-reading the rule and then feeling awful.
