| I just went to see if anybody was even looking at my pictures on flickr and it told me connection refused.? Won't even let me log in. But for now they seem to be still showing up on Fark. |

Same issue here. Photos are holding steady on Fark, but can't get into the flickr site. Their blog says it'll be fixed in a few minutes. Given, they said that about an hour ago... |

yeah, all the photos are visible for me on a full-refresh of the thread.
If my luck holds, I may pull off the best finish yet for my full set. And "dark" usually isn't my thing, or at least, I didn't think it was... |

| Looks like Flickr's back up. In theory the photos should be ok at this point, but I worried they were just loading in cache and would eventually fall into the ether. |

| So do any of the tech types know why even though I have been off the internet a few times today the contest is claiming billc226's 2012-02-23 04:47:52 PM entry is a new entry? It's been the new entry the last 4 or 5 times I checked. Every other thread I check is keeping normal track of new stuff and if I look later and there is nothing new It says I have seen everything before I click on it. you know the (1) at the end of the how many posts thingy. |

To add to observations, does it look like a couple of minor negative voting events around Friday morning to anyone else?
Don't have an answer to the new entry issue. Try clearing your cookies and reloading the page (if they're using cookies then all entries should be new at that point) then reload again to see if billc226 is still your "new entry" again. |

I don't know why and am heading out on a business trip so can't look into it, but the exact same thing has been happening to me since mid-yesterday, loki.

Dunno if the stats scraper would see them as unvotes or if the data simply gets edited out of the database and resulting charts, but U-Man's entries had to be re-un-envotinated after they got re-envotinated at some point in the course of yesterday and I'd missed that. There was also the dupe shot from bastian_74 that was removed from the thread entirely. That brings up an interesting angle on the unvotes--are some of them simply from entries that are removed (dupes, off-theme, whatever)? Obviously that wouldn't account for the 85 that were lost the one week, but I hadn't considered that when I delete or unenvotinate stuff, it may show up essentially as an unvote in the data. |

| And It's still doing the weirdness on the Farktography thread only. weirdness indeed. I even cleared my history cookies and all that. still no change. |

Els, I specifically account for those kinds of things. bastian_74 got an unvote just prior to being pulled, but once pulled/unenvotenated, entries aren't considered in the unvote check. The 3 unvotes that happened yesterday were:
User=Mopsy, ContestID=355, EntryID=75136445, ScanID=3014522, Time=2012-02-23 20:30:00, Votes=13, Place=5
User=Mopsy, ContestID=355, EntryID=75136445, ScanID=3014609, Time=2012-02-23 20:44:59, Votes=12, Place=6
User=Mopsy, ContestID=355, EntryID=75136519, ScanID=3014521, Time=2012-02-23 20:30:00, Votes=14, Place=4
User=Mopsy, ContestID=355, EntryID=75136519, ScanID=3014606, Time=2012-02-23 20:44:59, Votes=13, Place=4
User=Mopsy, ContestID=355, EntryID=75136605, ScanID=3014528, Time=2012-02-23 20:30:00, Votes=11, Place=8
User=Mopsy, ContestID=355, EntryID=75136605, ScanID=3014614, Time=2012-02-23 20:44:59, Votes=10, Place=11
Yeah, I can't imagine who or why, but assuming this isn't all some glitch Fark-side, someone had it out for Mopsy, I guess. Sorry, Mopsy. |

| I'll admit to being the unvote yesterday on bastian_74's dupe. But that was the only one I unvoted. |
