Take a small-scale landscape where detail and intimacy are key. No wide-angle stunners. The primary subject is suggested to be within arms reach, but not required. Difficulty: No people.
Theme suggestion kudos go to ennuipoet and orionid--thanks! |

So, just so I get this right, it's a landscape of feet and yards?
A landscape shot of landscape that would fit in the average living room or less? |

1 and 3 yes, 2 maybe not so much. While orionid is the final arbiter the idea is intimate landscapes, down low, without the broad expanse of the sky and objects in the distance. |

| Yea, I can see where #2 would be borderline. It's not exactly WIDE angle, but probably not quite as tiny as intended. |

| I'm fairly certain from test runs with orionid earlier this year that 2 is right out. 1 and 3 are much more on target. Intimacy in a small landscape is the general idea. Of course, I could be totally wrong. We drinks, ya know (though work keeps interfering with that, dammit...and that astrophotography stuff--takes up so much time...) |

Does this qualify? or something similar?
Edit: they are fake people
The scale is good, but I don't know that it really says landscape. I'd allow it but it may play hell with the voters. |

That's very nice Barracuda...
I've been shooting for this the last couple days... I've focused on the words "Tiny" and "Land". YMMV
However, the church I stopped at after school today also had a small koi/goldfish pond with water lilies. Can I use these, or does the water say "pick some other contest"? I"m good either way, just wondering. |

Ok. I know I have 2 that fit the theme pefectly.
But... does this: http://m.flickr.com/lightbox?id=7185459009 ?
The photo conucentrates on a small area, but you can see sky.
I'll accept either answer.. |
